Rene Stevenson
is a half English-half Lebanese, poetry writing Leo, who works as a psychotherapist and group facilitator. She has a passionate interest in conversations at the edge: between spirituality, creativity, ecology, politics, sexuality and psychology in the process of healing, transformation and peace at individual and global levels. She draws inspiration from the wondrous diversity of life, including Nature, western psychology and the great Wisdom traditions- particularly Buddhism, Mysticism and Shamanism - and from relationships with family, friends and clients. One of her (many) passions is to facilitate the awakening of the heart, allowing access to our innate wholeness, so we may connect with all dimensions of life, to live authentically, creatively and compassionately. Rene has a private therapy practice and facilitates workshops and retreats exploring healing, mindfulness, compassion, creativity and relationship. She is married with one teenage son, and loves hiking, gardening, movies, art, dancing, travel, and her beautiful family and friends.
