International best-seller to tutor in SAPress release
UK, US and Amazon best-seller, Timothy Freke, will conduct half day creative writing workshops in Johannesburg and Cape Town in September 2006 as part of his tour of South Africa. Globally acclaimed author, mystic and stand-up philosopher will be holding workshops in Cape Town and Johannesburg in September 2006. Freke has co-authored with Peter Gandy several books including The Jesus Mysteries, which was a top 10 best-seller in the UK and USA, an Amazon.com 'surprise bestseller', and a 'Book of the Year' in The Daily Telegraph. Another co-authored book, Jesus and the Lost Goddess, was cited by Dan Brown as an inspiration for The Da Vinci Code. Freke has often been featured in the media around the world. Recently he was interviewed for the History Channel documentary Beyond The Da Vinci Code and has been the focus of 'Modern Mystics' on the BBC World Service and 'Beyond Belief' on BBC Radio 4. Tim lectures and runs experiential seminars in the UK, USA and Europe. The half day workshops with Timothy Freke will be based on mystical writing styles, drawing inspiration from philosophical wisdom and deep insights from the phenomenon of Lucid Living. This will be an opportunity to learn about creativity and the art of writing, but also to interact with one of the world's most prolific and successfully published non-fiction authors.
