Toast Coetzer
Two of my favourite musicians, Chris Letcher and Matthew van der Want, recently played a couple of shows in the Independent Armchair Theatre. Having released two outstanding albums ('Low Riding and Bignity) and one rather humourous EP (EP Tombi) since 1997, the duo disappeared off the live scene over recent years as Chris moved to London to further his studies in music and Matthew tried out real life as a lawyer. Thankfully, they've been making music anyway and self-released a brand new album called Casual Killing during their recent South African mini-tour. You can order it from www.vanderwant-letcher.com It's very, very good.

PS. These pics originally taken on colour digital, but I turned them into black and whites in Photoshop because the lighting was very red on the night and didn't look good in colour.
